Why is the Nordmann variety chosen?
Nordmann is the most sought-after variety for Christmas trees because it's known for holding needles better than others: it loses them less easily over the weeks.
It has soft, uniformly dark green needles, and firm horizontal branches that can easily support the weight of the balls and lights.
How to care for a pine tree at home
Place it in a cool location, ideally between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius, with indirect light and away from windows with direct sunlight. Avoid placing it near heaters or fireplaces.
Although it has no roots, you can add a small amount of water between the stem and the plastic base to keep it hydrated. Spray the needles at the ends of the branches regularly with water.
What to do with the tree after Christmas
The producer is committed to planting three pine trees for every one sold. After the harvest season, the tree can be disposed of for biomass production in local projects.
